Nvidia Geforce 7300gt

hi to all i am a new user to windows 7...i have just upgrade from xp to windows 7..
Everything is working great but i have only problems with my video card...so here is my problem

My video card in Nvidia geforce 7300gt,first i tried it to install it with the CD given but it doesn't work..then i downloaded the Driver from Nvidia site......and it works fine...but i am not able to install the utility...(i.e IntelVXD)..
the following screen will show that both the video cards are working

and the screen continuously flickers..and i have updated my drivers

Hi imrishav, welcome to the forums , you must disable the onboard graphics card in the bios [ the intel chip] ,Is the nvidia card working OK?

Thx for the reply...Nvidia Is working fine...how to disable intel on board ?? Brother i want to make it work as it was working on Winxp..thx in advance

simply right click the on-board video in the device manager (as posted by you) and choose disable. You could also disable in the bios but you should not need to go to this extreme.

i am sorry but i forgot to mention i have already done it(to disable it)...but nothing happens..i also tried to uninstall Intel chipset but it gets installed after i restart the computer...

imrishav , if you would be so kind and tell us the manufacturer/ model of your PC/ Laptop , We will be able to tell you how to access the bios to disable the onboard graphics , Also read this tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/82137-drivers-turn-off-automatic-driver-installation.html using this information you can stop the intel graphics reinstalling every time you reboot

I am sorry but i have already done(Disabling the updates) it.And my PC manufacture name is ASUS....and i am sorry i don't know much about it...

Reboot your system then keep pressing delete to get into the bios,(at least that is how I get into my bios on my Asus) search through the headings at the top till you find where the onboard graphics adapter is listed then disable it their.Reboot and it shouldn't show up in device manager anymore.
That is if their is an option to disable it which their should be.

Boot up in safe mode and try it again,,press F8 at boot up and select safe mode....If this doesn't work download driver sweeper and try removing it with the program..BUT,,,be very careful what you remove,make dead sure before you remove drivers....L8a

also download Speccy - System Information - Free Download this will read your computer and tell you what it is

imrishav, have you read and followed the steps in the tutorial I posted for you http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/82137-drivers-turn-off-automatic-driver-installation.html ? following this useful guide will enable you to stop the automatic installation of the onboard graphics driver, thus enabling us to help you get your Nvidia card working correctly

You may need to install as Administrator:

Right click the install.exe and choose "run as administrator".

i have done all the things listed but still it doesn't work....i think this utility thing is the main reason of the problem...can't i get the whole cd on nvidia online with windows 7 driver??
