I was planning to buy Nvidia GeForce 9600 Gt, just wondering anyone know how it responds in Win 7 32-bit, driver issues and all?

Mine works great in both the 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 with the latest 195.39 beta NVIDIA drivers.

I have seen a few folks that are having issues with the 9 series, Windows 7, and its drivers

It could have been just their personal machine as others have gotten it to work without much of an issue

Hi Dorian, I'm running a Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT card with Win 7 Ultimate and have nil problems so far. Drivers are available at nVidia site, just hit the Graphics button on the find drivers page, Cheers

It's working great in my Win 7, 64bit too.

Gets a 6.8 on Graphics and Gaming graphics in WEI.

It's working great in my Win 7, 64bit as well. The 9800GT has more problems with Win 7 then the 9600GT.

I have got really annoying problems with GeForce 9600. It is not GT though, it is GS. I am not sure what is the difference. It worked just fine in Vista, but the problem began immediately after upgrading to Windows 7. Video freezes too often when I watch DVD or stream video from internet. I don't play games though, so I can't say anything about that.
P.S. Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

BAd news for me , prices have skyrocketed in my country+city since I last checked, and now it seems that 9600 GT is outta range for me, and have to opt for 8600 Gt is ... how's the report?

I have an 8600M GT in my laptop and it is a solid performer...I expect the Desktop counterpart to be no different

Bear in mind that modern games on the highest settings will probably not be possible...but you will still get a great experience out of the chip

I have an 8800GT and it gets 6.9! lol but what they don't tell you is the 8800GT is really the 9800GT, both are the R92 chipset I think? But I'd say just wait, as the 300's are coming out and soon prices should decline for everything.

I usually play with medium settings, so shouldn't be a problem then, I'm thinking of the 512 mb ddr3 model. Thanks

Well then I'm guessing before the middle of next year they should have cards that do dx11 and are cheap? I wish I had 1G 256bit ram now =(
