My GTX 260 XFX Black Edition (stock OC with 216 cores) is idle at 60 celcius usually, and goes to 70 to 75 celcius on full load.
Nvidia cards are hot, hot, pretty hot ! Specially the 2xx,4xx,5xx cards.
Nvidia drivers are also worse and worse, accumulating bugs and problem, leading to many cards failures.
The Black Edition of the same, of my brother, failed couple months ago, because of nvidia drivers.
XFX respected their Black Edition lifetime warranty and sent him a new replacement card XFX 6850 HD Radeon... currently having issues, but much more stable and reliable than the new nvidia card.
No wonder why a company such as XFX who offers superior customer service have switched back to ATI even after all theses years with Nvidia...
