It asked me to download 2 KB updates which I did. Then Intel Assistant automatically detected my Intel missing drivers, installed 2 of them. But Nvidia still cries I don't have Intel drivers even though they already exist.

I rebooted, turned on Windows Update but there's an error and it won't find any other updates (yeah I deliberately skipped Simplix updater to speed up my integration process so I don't have to wait so long to integrate all drivers that aren't said to be essential.

I also re-downloaded the NVIDIA driver cause I had a similar problem with Intel and it couldn't scan my laptop. And after reinstalling Intel Assistant I was able to scan the laptop and download/install drivers.

Sadly, it won't work with Nvidia. I'm trying to install a 465.89 driver for my GTX 1050 (notebook version). My CPU is i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80Ghz 2801 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical.

I even tried overwriting the Hardware Ids first value in the nvidia "nvami" and "nvdmi" files. Didn't work.

Tried downloading the drivers from an unofficial website and "This installation package isn't supported by this processor type" and even though I managed to install some driver it still kept saying the same. Neither I can update with it on Device Manager so it says my drivers are up to date whether I choose the driver folder or search automatically.

So far used Driver Booster 8 and installed the integrated gpu driver for Intel HD Graphics 630. I still need to get my drivers working with my GTX 1050 though.

For people having a similar problem: you gotta get an intel graphic driver first ( I had to download from some unofficial website) and then you'll be able to unlock a NVIDIA driver. Hope that helps someone.
