hi guys i have a razer blade latop and every time i check my view reliability history i see a error called Nvidia Update COM object does anyone know how to fix this problem? when i click search for solution nothing appears

Try the control panel settings I posted earlier.

You can always uninstall the NVIDIA GeFroce Experince through add/remove programs.


It's not a necessary piece of software.

It might, as smarteyeball said it is not necessary. Try removing it, and using the link from earlier and disable updating. You can update a new driver on your own.

You people gave WRONG instructions to this guy. I stumbled upon this post, and I was like, "what the heck are they doing?" This is NOT the proper way of dealing with THIS problem.

Here is the proper way:

You need to delay the startup item called Nvtmru by 30 seconds or so. Personally I use Glarysoft utilities to do this.

I have a paid version, but I do believe the free version will do the following steps. If ever the free version does not allow you to do this, just Google a program will "delay startup items":

---> Advanced Tools (tab)
---> System Controls ---> Startup Items
---> Click on Nvtmru and click on delay

This will delay the item trying to find the driver. Sometimes a program does not have the time to find a driver, which for example, has not yet been loaded! Hence the error. So, by delaying the startup, the PC will have the time to load the driver BEFORE the actual programs is requesting that specific driver.

So far, I have not had any problems upon delaying the Nvtmru by 30 seconds. It should also work for anyone having this problem. Good grief, I can't believe bad instructions were given to the OP. ONLY if delaying the startup item fails should someone then attempt to re-install the program. Sometimes it's possible that a program had a corruption somewhere, but this is only a last resort solution. As for disabling auto-updates??? NO! Bad idea, VERY bad idea, since the problem itself is not fixed at all.
