OC-ing my rig

ok 70c is fine. oc more on it, just keep it below 80c. maybe kick the fans up higher

for your CPU, honestly i wouldent even bother.
Were you cynical about the GPU part?
If not, then how big of a difference will like 50MHZ max do? Worth even trying?

About the CPU, why? Would help the performace because of a bottleneck with me GPU?

no I was not. you said it was hitting 81C and I did not want you to burn out your GPU.

50MHZ will give maybe 3fps max.

OC the card as much as possible while keeping it stable and below 80c.

1gb vram is not enough for bf3 or 4. you need at least 2. on max settings in bf3, ive used over 2gb of Vram. play on 1600x900 or 1280x720 res

Your Graphics card is too old too handle what you are throwing at it

if this was 4 years ago then yes it would be awesome card

Anyways VRAM is the ram the Video card holds and you only have 1gb even in SLI you might gain another 25 frames if any

I would look into a quality 3GB card 2GB is ok but 3GB's will do you good for a long while

If you looking for a nice budget card give us how much you can pay and we will cook up something good

I see you run Nvidia is that your preference ?

some cards to consider:

Budget:
gtx 660
gtx 660Ti
radeon 7950
r9 270x

less budget cards:
gtx 760
7990
r9 280x
Welll, thanks guys.
I am not into investing money on my PC right now but appreciate the offer.
Thank you all.

Now Ill just wait for someone that might know what and if I should do with my CPU and it's clock.

Leave it alone.........that's what I"d do with your CPU. Your CPU is more than enough to play games just fine, it's the video card that's holding you back. Dicking around with your CPU won't net you any tangible gains....at all.

Alright..

I just wonder why my CPU temps are unstable..
They are fine in general but they just change too much.. Is that ok?
Like if the temp is 34, after a second it can jump to 38 and then back to 35. The general max\avg temps are fine.

The GPU temps are super stable. Nice line showing up with just small jumps\downs from time to time with no more than 1C difference.

There are always services and applications running in the background that will use a core or 2 and make the temps fluctuate. A 3-4* fluctuation is FAR from being unstable. I've never seen a CPU that doesn't have that temperature fluctuation.

agreed. your system is fine. if you want more performance, OC you GPU as much as possible which will only give 5-10fps more or buy a new one. that's all you can really do. your cpu is fine and dosent need to be OCed

not a problem. just remember to keep that card below 80c so to not damage it.
