Hi, i'm having this weird thing going on with my pagefile... What's going on is every time i go to Recourse Moniter pagefile is at the top of the Disk page, but it's not doing anything. it's writing, but normally when its there my pc gets REALLY slow. I'm saying its a problem, (i think) i'm just curious why its there. EDIT: Btw no my knowledge this is the only time this has happened

You might want to try Process Monitor to see what apps are using the file.

There is nothing to install - just download/open the zip and copy the files somewhere.

Run Process Monitor as admin.
Stop the data collection via Ctrl-E
Open the filter via Ctrl+L

Once the list of default filters appear, scroll down to one that mentions:
Path > ends with > pagefile.sys
Double click on that row to put it into the edit state.
In upper right, change Exclude to Include.
Click on Add.
Click on Apply.
"OK" your way out of the filters.

Start the data collection via Ctrl-E
