Office 2010 A Mess

This is terribly embarrassing, but I tried a system restore to fix my problem (with a thought that it would actually work due to what may have been messed up, not just blindly thinking a restore will fix everything)
But I don't know how to delete this thread, now that it is no longer needed.

In case you read this, in future select "Edit" under your post. You'll then see a "Delete" option.
Be aware that "Edit" will no longer be available to you when your post is several hours old.
