Solved Office 2010 Install Error

Office 2010 won't install. It gets most of the way through the installation and then gives me the below error message. I'm trying to install another program that gives me a similar message too. What can I do to fix this?

Hi Weboh,
please try these

Ensure Netframework is upto date 4.6.2 version

then all the following
1 run this
Open the Windows Update troubleshooter - Microsoft Windows Help

Run the following commands, and press Enter after each command

Net stop wuauserv
cd %systemroot%
Ren SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
Net start wuauserv
Try to install updates again

Open Regedit
Go to HKLM\Components
Delete or rename REG_DWORD "pendingrequired=1"

Reboot
try updates again

I have .NET Framework 4.6.1. How do I update it if it doesn't show up in Windows Update?
