Odd though, the figure in red on the left isn't the same as in the CPUz window. Not doubting you in any way, the validator seems to be a bit wonky.

I didn't even see that before...good eye!

Now that you pointed it out, I went back to look at the runs I did last night (8ish runs) and 5 or 6 of them look the same as that one :what:. All 5 or 6 have the "red" number on the left showing correct but the "screen cap" on right all show the same as the one I posted. (I'll post them all if you guys/gals want?)

Luckily the last two runs look normal, I'll post the last one later when I have time.

Good luck with the LN2, you'll have to post good pic/videos of it. As for me, that is more than I want to play with..lol But I'll gladly let my H-70 get it's ass kicked by LN2. :geek:

I installed the stock 140mm case fan outside of case then installed the H70+ 1 of its 120mm fans inside case. Used the 2nd 120mm from the H70 to go in the Gpu tunnel.
230mm Front,200mm side,200mm top,120mm Gpu tunnel,120mm&140mm on H70.
I have had vaildations that show 5.xx on the left for validation, but my idle 1.6 on the right

Yeah, sometimes the oldies are the best, the more simple the CPU the better it will OC, it will have been done using Liquid Nitrogen though. In fact all the speeds on there will have been.

Edit: And the top one will no doubt have been done with only 1 core running not all 8.

Absolutely, if someone is mad enough to do it then it's fine. There are no rules regarding overclocks, if you can do it and get it validated then it's fine.

No idea on that one mate, but I am guessing it is not effective as nobody uses it. LN2 seems to be the norm for extreme overclocking.

I installed the stock 140mm case fan outside of case then installed the H70+ 1 of its 120mm fans inside case. Used the 2nd 120mm from the H70 to go in the Gpu tunnel.
230mm Front,200mm side,200mm top,120mm Gpu tunnel,120mm&140mm on H70.
