My personal ASrock experience is very poor, 4 RMA and I still have a board that won't even power up. But if you can find a good one they seem to do well. Finding the golden board is the key.

And how is your track record with Asus lately Gary LOL. You must be close to 4 RMA in the last month

I am with you though, I would not buy another Asrock. It's Asus all the way for me.

I have had good email communication with ASUS while ASrock basically showed their middle finger and I'm just out $179.

Good Choice

I have had good luck with Asus and Asrock MSI so so some Corsair products I did have a AX850 fail me and you know the cooler story

But their fans seems to work well and PSU when you get a solid one

I always trusted Diamond

MSI ok

EVGA for Nvidia

Visiontek pretty sweet

XFX alright had a 5670 1gb a few years ago

I am totally happy with my Thermaltake 2.0 Extreme, great temps all below 30, now I just gotta get the i7 in this week.

If I ever decide to change my case I will do a dual rad set up


I would look into water cooling for my GPU if I get a super sick one with the attachments

Hmm noticed the problems with boards and having a problem a while ago with the Intel LC although I couldn't OC to save my life - and seeing the deluge of posts in that Overclockers forum relating to LC failures any ideas on the better manufacturers as i intend to do another Ivy and get an i7 into it?.

Thanks Solar the Intel had an Asetek pump as well but it was a basic model I suppose. I shall check out the others from my supplier site all the same

Look at this one John, enlarge the pics. Asetek coolers all have this same water block, round with the teeth on the circumference.
