i heard Oct. 3rd they are being released.

They will be available for pre-order on the 3rd. I expect release to be a couple of weeks later.

I just read a while ago they want to have pre order no clock speeds are released nothing no specs so it's a mystery not sure if i want to go through that if it's not up to what it should be

I know of somebody who has had 4 of them for a while but is under an NDA, He has said that they're good and people arer in for a surprise..

Yea I am Monkeying with the Idea of one of those new Fandangled R9 290x

i heard Oct. 3rd they are being released.

They will be available for pre-order on the 3rd. I expect release to be a couple of weeks later.

Looks like the 15th for release. And Crossfire without needing bridges.
Sadly there will be no information on them until the 15th either

valdation its achuly 1.35v oh well stuff happens

Nar Dom, the colors represent 1000s not 100s. If I did that then I would need to have 100s of colors if you get me.

Paul my best bet is to wait till tax season I can do some real magic

I know for a fact these cards will be sick you don't need a crossfire bridge and you know those little flaps go out sometimes

Yeah mate, well I am hoping to get one at launch, I was close to selling my GPU today but the guy put in an offer too low for me £190, I have it up for £225 right now, that will give me around £200 after Amazon fees. And If the new R9 290X comes in at £500 then I can afford it. But only if my card sells.

Edit: Any why are you talking crossfire stuff haha, ain't 1 gonna be enough for ya?

if i sell my 7970 and 6870 I will have only one card left and I will put the other 790 in the 8350 rig and the 290x in the intel rig I will be broken down to one gpu but knowing me I would invest in another just for kicks

heres my score.

well after 4 weeks of waiting and waiting, and waiting, then 20 mins to put this together, then more time with updates and bla bla bla, I would like to say one thing. I BEAT YOU SOLAR!!!!!!!!!

lol so after some time, turns out my mobo has an overvolt protection on the cpu. so I could not hit 5,3ghz owell

EDIT: ohh durp, I forgot to update my bios..... GAAAAAAAA!!!!! owell lol I was scared about my voltage lol
