Offline NT password recovery & registry editor

HI,
I used the offline nt password recovery and registry editor to promote a standard account to an administrator. But now i cant switch it back to standard account even if i have another administrator account. It doesn't deletes the account either. Any help is appreciated.

Go back with system restore to a point before you even had the problem that caused you to use password recovery.

I dont have a restore point before i did this neither do i want to reinstall and format windows. is there any other alternative.
