Question...If I put Windows 7 DVD onto one of these sticks using WinToFlash, can I use the left over space to add some applications utilities, pictures, documents.

You can yea. I've done it before when I've put a Windows installlation on my USB pen to install, I usually put a few driver files afterwards to install.

Thought this was pretty cheap. A 16GB microSD card, class 6 for £35. Only a few left now. Bought one yesterday for my phone and it came today. Did some tests on it and it seems to be a genuine class 6 card, was getting decent speeds expected off a class 6.

When you write the Win7 install ISO to a flash stick, it bootsects the stick and extracts the installer files into the root of stick where they must be to boot stick. In the leftover space you can put anything you want.

I failed to mention that the reason I put the extracted Win7 files into a folder when not needed to boot is so that I won't lose them. If have lost them before and only found them later in another folder.

I have that PSU on my new system. Works nicely so far. Waited for the rebate; just purposely "forgot" about it to pass the time.

Be forewarned the rebate usually a debit card. If you purchase something over the limit of the card, it's a $15 fee.
