On Board Graphics Crashing

Shutdown the pc for 1 hour.

Start the pc enter bios, set it to optimized defaults, check system and cpu temperatures (save changes before exit? YES) post the temperatures here.

Try to play for 1 hour, check again the temperatures and again post them here.

Turn off screen saver.

Disable windows aero.

For temperatures and more info download and install Speccy - Standard
Post here screenshot of the Summary.

-------------------------
Just a tip: Your on board graphic card is weak,is getting old :) so is a good idea to install one better graphic card.
Your motherboard can accept pci express card.

Though, first lets try the above steps and work more for solution.

I'll get these for tomorrow as I'm just taking this opportunity to update my back up (just in case I press a wrong button).

Just a quick Q as I have had a quick look in the BIOS.. Set to optimized defaults... is this the same as load default settings?

I've had a look in bios and it doesn't give me that option anywhere. Only the load default settings which seems to have caused a few changes so I'm a tad worried.

Another thing is when I load up I get an express gate screen (never seen before) with an error code 8c000002 then an ASUS screen that I've never seen before (i used to get an American megatrends loading screen). I also now have a floppy drive showing in my computer when I have no floppy!

What a mind bender

Any ideas

Here are the pictures of my bios options (different than what I've seen on other pcs), the express gate error which is the first screen I see and the new asus screen which has never appeared before.

I now only get the American megatrends screen if I press del and it will go onto that for a short while before going into the bios.

Do you think I've made a cock up?

Cheers Panais, i can't say how grateful I am for the help. I was panicking a little there.

I've done that and it's sorted that out!

Where do I go from here? Don I need to update BIOS seeing as though I wiped it.

Regarding the original crash, any further ideas?

I haven't had any BSOD yet and the crash hasn't happened either. I'll monitor it and let you know.

Could the resetting of the BIOS have fixed it?

Does it matter that the original Americian megatrends screen has changed to the Asus M2N68 VM screen?

Just seen this while on my lunch.. I don't actually do any PC gaming (all done on PS3), would you still perhaps look for a GFX card or should my on board be more than enough?
