OnBoard Ethernet and PCI sound Card don't work together

I have recently invested in a new PCI sound card to enable 5.1 surround sound. One problem, after restarting my PC after installing the drivers my onboard Ethernet adapter no longer works. In device manager it has an orange warning triangle on and on the task bar a red 'x'. When I look at the properties it says (Error Code 10)

Please help! I don't want to have to send it back!

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums ... Check in the BIOS to see if the Network Card is enabled ...

Its enabled. I had a look and couldn't find anything else...

If you remove the Sound Card does the Lan Connection work ? ...

Yeah. It does. I've disabled the sound card and restarted to see if that works.

No lights on the land connection.

Okay, if I boot with the sound card disables the LAN works. But boot enebled it doesn't!

See if you can update the Chipset Driver ... Go to the Motherboards Website ....
