I'm new here and even I'm beginner with windows so you might find my questions silly somewhat.

I've bought a second-hand laptop so I decided to format it as it was not in English
It has to partitions; C: (67 GB) & D: (43 GB)
During Windows 7 setup, I formatted C: and D: (to make sure they are clear)

After the setup finished, I opened My computer and found only C: with same space of 67 GB, but I didn't find D:

Now I'm confused as I didn't delete D:, I only formatted it!

Why it disappear and how to get it back?

If you please can help it would be appreciated

Thank you

It is probably unallocted space or needs a letter, and that`s why it doesn`t show up in computer, you have to go into disk management to check.

:orb:start>right click computer>manage>wait a few seconds>click disk management. it`s on the left hand side.

Once you`re there, you have to right click on the unallocated space and choose format.

Disk management will show you what`s up with it either way.
