I am trying to help this user with a windows 7 laptop issue but I'm not sure if an update might have caused it or something else.
In Word a new open file or opening up an e-mailed Word doc, the pointer/cursors morphs into a circle spinning, looks like its thinking but it’s not.
When the user closes out of Word--the pointer shows up but when I open Word back up and it does it again...Anyone encounter this issue and have a resolution to this?

I looked up a few articles and it said it has something to do with the print spooler--disable it from the Services section. Which I did and that seemed to take care of it temporarily. I'll have to check the users printer list because this user might have been setup with client's printers.

Do I need to do some updates on touchpad, office 2007?! Please help.
