Opening .doc Attachments in Live Mail

Hello guys.

Not sure if this has been posted already, I did try searching but gave up as i couldn't find anything for this problem in Windows 7, only Vista.

Basically I'm trying to open word (.DOC) attachments in windows live mail, and keep getting an error message telling me the file does not have a program associated with it and therefore cannot be opened. I can happily save it to a folder and open it then. I am using Office 2003.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kissboo, I notice you have had the same problem as I am experiencing now. I just installed WLM so I am in a steep learning curve. Did you get a solution?

Err no solution but the problem seems to have fixed itself. I'll keep you posted if i manage to figure out why this is now solved..
