Here is the problem - 2 examples:

1...I adjust my touchpad speed...after a reboot, the speed is back to "default?" what it had been before I had adjusted it.

2...Even my email - I adjust the size of attachments that are allowed to be downloaded, and after reboot it is back to what it had been.

I'm running an almost new Dell STUDIO XPS 1645 with 8G RAM.

I've checked and rechecked all the options I know about....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have an entry called "KHALMNPR" in startup items? Click on the Start orb, then type MSCONFIG, hit Enter. Then click on the STARTUP tab in the msconfig window. If you find KHALMNPR, uncheck the box, reboot. See if that helps for the touchpad problem.

Thank You Bill2,

That seemed to fix the touchpad and mouse speed option problem.

Now I need to work on the email problem.

Thanks again.
