I just finished transferring all data to my new 7020 with Win10. After that I moved hardware over- PSU, GPU, etc- only to find the system would shut down repeatedly after getting it plugged back in. Chancing that maybe the 24-to-8 pin PSU adapter I bought was junk I put the 290W Dell PSU back in. Same deal. Taking the GTX out, going with the onboard VGA, system is working fine.
It seems the card is drawing too much power and causing the system to power off even with a larger PSU, as if the motherboard can't draw it. This card unfortunately has no external power connector(eVGA brand- Access Denied ). I had no problems with it at all in the old Gateway PC.
Any suggestions? From what I understand the 290w should be sufficient. That's if it is a power issue... could it be because I don't have the NVidia drivers installed yet? Some other issue?

late edit- put the 500W PSU back in, working fine. Set Win10 to "high performance" power mode. Have not put the GTX card back in though. High performance might fix the power draw issue but I want some other poster input before I try it.
BIOS issue? This is what Speccy reports-
