Solved Outlook 07 Won't Open Hyerlinks after Today's Security Update

I ran MS updates today which included about 1/2 dozen+ MS Office 07 security updates. Now I can't open any regular links or links embedded in images (like in NewEgg emails) in my emails.

I rebooted after the reboot needed to install the MS updates. I opened / closed Outlook a couple of times. I looked thru Options but didn't find any that applied.

I Googled the problem but found only 7+ year old posts regarding the same issue.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

PS:sorry I forgot to mention that even if I right click and select 'Open Link,' nothing happens.

OK, it fixed itself. I had another MS update come up (.net 4.7). I ran it and rebooted again. Now the links work.
