Solved outlook 2007 changed email address so email was returned

I'll bet you have not heard this one before. I was attempting to send an email to a potential client. Everything seemed to work well except that it was returned. The problem was that the address was changed somewhere. His name is spelled with a j but somewhere along the line, it was changed to a k and so there was no such person and therefore was returned to me.

What could have happened? This is a new one on me.

Not quite. It was: The e-mail address you entered couldn't be found. Check the address and try resending the message. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk

I'll send the whole error message if you need it.

If the recipients has changed his email address,then this is "normal".


Find any other way to contact your client (by phone maybe) and ask for the new email address.

I deleted everything and re-entered everything then rebooted. Looks like that worked - for now.
