Outlook 2007 is Slow.

Ever since I installed the Microsoft updates on 12/14/10, my Outlook 2007 has had speed issues. Everything seems to work fine unless I click on a different Outlook folder, then it takes 10 or 15 seconds for it to open it. I've compacted my pst file and have no additional add on's to Outlook. Any suggestions??

See if it can be solved with clean boot. if not try

Using system restore go back before the updates
Then install one at a time. Do not install the next until you know it is not causing problems

Several of the computer blogs have reported this. Google is your friend..

Microsoft also is good to search on your error normally with a solution.

That did the trick. It was a matter of uninstalling update KB2412171.

Ok you are all set. If that update is marked optional, just right click and then hide.
