outlook 2010 extremely slow following reinstall

hello guys,

i reinstalled outlook but now instead of deleting emails quickly it takes 5-10 seconds...

i have an msn email running win 7 x64, not too sure what to use, imap, mapi outlook connector? somehow outlook data file always remains there i cant delete it (default data file)... not realy sure if this is whats causing the slowness...

i used those settings, and havent been able to make it what it was:

Outlook.com (Hotmail): IMAP

3 Account Type: IMAP
4 Incoming mail server: imap-mail.outlook.com
5 Outgoing mail server: smtp-mail.outlook.com

9 Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) disabled

10 My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: enabled
11 Use same settings as my incoming mail server: enabled

12 Incoming server (IMAP): 993
13 Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL
14 Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
15 Use the following type of encrypted connection: TLS

any idea??
