outlook 2010 not a default mail

Hi All,

i encounter a problem when i was opening my outlook 2010. i got this error message.
There is no email program associated to perform the request action. please install an email program or, if one is already installed, created an association in the default programs control panel.

i try to set outlook to default programs but it still doesn't seems to work. previously i have both 2007 & 2010 office install. i already uninstall 2007 and did a repair on 2010 but still no outcome. so i uninstall both office and install 2010 and now i only have 2010 on my windows 7. Thus, i still getting the same issue. anyone can assist me on this? i have attached the error message in this thread.

Please refer to this page "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request" error message when you send e-mail from third-party program in Outlook.

Download the Fixit and run it.

i did try that but it didn't work for me. but recently i install this patches.
kb2687623 will this cause the issue ?
