Outlook 2010, search isn't working.

I am currently having trouble search through my emails on outlook 2010. I tried to rebuild index in advanced option and despite very long hours of waiting, it didn't work. What more can I try on this? I am running this on windows 7 32bit.

Is Outlook open when you are rebuilding the index? It should be.

It opens and it works. Just search doesn't work.
