When I go into the options menu of my Outlook 2010 on Windows 7, I used to be able to click the signatures button and edit the sig I wanted for my various email accounts. Recently it stopped loading, and now it just hangs when I click it (and I have to use ctrl+alt+del just to close Outlook).

I found this thread here with these instructions on the following registry entries that should be changed in order to fix the problem:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\LocalServer32
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\LocalServer32
Change both (Default) and LocalServer32 values in each to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\Outlook.exe

The problem is, when I navigate to the "0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046" location, I do not see a LocalServer32 sub-directory. I see a InprocServer32 folder instead. So I'm unable to preform this update.

Any idea how I can correct this issue or where else I can look to do the proper registry edit? Thanks!

I did this and either it did not work, or worked but also needed the removal of the Microsoft Desktop Apps/My Office - the MS bloatware that came on the brand new Win10. Remove those (possibly only after the regedit changes as well) and then the signatures box pops up.

Good luck till MS screws up again!!
