Hi, I have recently upgraded pretty much the whole rig and now for the icing on the cake I want to overclock my Q6600 to 3.0Ghz(minimum).

I am kinda of a newbie however I have read few threads and gained in depth information about overlcocking. I am using an after market cpu cooler so heat shouldn't be a problem. I need help with starting up for example vcore settings and latency settings for the memory.

I would appreciate it if one would enlighten me with their knowledge of overclocking this processor.

Unfortunately, even if one CPU will overclock with certain settings, it does not mean that another will work with the same settings.

You really need to customize it per CPU.
