I'm not exactly sure how overclocking work or is done and I would like to find out if I can get the most out of my system.

I understand that it is increasing the speed of my processor from the labelled gigahertz to perhaps an untested or more unstable level.

I just want to know how i can overclock my laptop. Is it done with a program or manually altering the mobo?

It is considered a bad idea to Overclock laptops due to heat issues. There will also be no options available in your BIOS that will allow you to Overclock.

Your only option would be to use a software based application like SetFSB:

SetFSB_HomePage

I'd advise reading some more as overclocking isn't without risks.
