Override Permissions to allow Wallpaper Change

Hi Guys

Mine is a simple question. Is there a way I can change the wallpaper on my work machine when my permissions to do allow it?

Basically the wallpaper is super bright and it is hurting my eyes, I have complained about it, and was told that it was marketing policy, and I should just have a dark text editor window open at all times to cover the white background

Can I fix this issue some how? I would greatly appreciate any help.

Possibly, but its very likely your employers system administrator would be notified as soon as that happens.

You could go to your employer and ask for permission for the I.T. department to assist you with the brightness problem.
You could also give the I.T. department a call and ask for assistance.

Brightness is already as low as I can possibly get it, any less bright and I find it hard to code in my dark Code Editors (VS 2012, Sublime Text ... etc).
