Updated bios to 0902 (as suggested by XFX to fix a graphics issue). Didn't fix it - and now I have no sound. Windows and EZgate detect card, bios says it's enabled - but no sound comes out. Checked speakers work on a different PC. Any ideas?

Did you reset the BIOS to defaults after the upfate flash?

I would uninstall the current drivers in Device Manager, reboot..
...during reboot get into the BIOS and reset to default. Make sure audio is enabled or "auto-detect" and see if the system finds your audio device and automatically installs the drivers.

I aslo had to go into the 'VIA HD Audio Deck' at the control panel & configure it in there to get it working.

Voip. Insanely cheap phone calls.
I have installed the latest drivers. Windows detects the card, it's enabled in the BIOS too. But no sound will come out - even though Windows thinks it's outputting sound.
