Hello,

I recently purchased a new laptop a month or so ago and it's started acting up already. Almost immediately after my purchase, I began to get the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) at somewhat various intervals. It seems to me that the BSOD tends to occur most often when A) Restarting the computer B) "Waking" from Sleep Mode and C) Sometimes upon Start Up. However, the computer seems to be functioning OK (despite the BSOD) after System Restore, at least until the next boot-up, restart, etc. It should be noted that the BSOD only occurs after I've logged in to my account, leading me to believe that this is a problem with regards to hardware (Graphics, perhaps?). Anyways, here is the note I receive on the BSOD:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Technical Information:
***STOP: 0X00000050 (0xFFFFF88073860800, 0x0000000000000001, 0xFFFFFA8007E352E6, 0x0000000000000005)

I've attached a compressed BSOD Dump & System File. Sadly, I can't seem to fully run a "System Health Report" as I keep getting an error message saying "An error occured while attempting to generate the report. The wait for the report generation tool to finish has timed out." (This seems to be a fairly common issue on the message boards, with no clear solution.) Hopefully, even without an attached "System Health Report", someone could help me try and solve the issue.

The following are my computer's specs:

System Manufacturer and Model
Dell Inc. Inspiron N5050

Operating System
MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1

CPU
Intel Core i3/i5/i7 @ 2.30 GHz

Motherboard
Dell Inc. 01HXXJ (CPU 1)

Graphics
Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60hz)
Intel (R) HD Graphics Family

Hard Drives
488 GB Seagate ST95003251S (SATA)

Optical Drives

Audio

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to request further information if you think it will help fix this issue. I've tried to really solve the problem tonight so I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks so much for your time and I look forward to hearing any solutions!

Thanks!

Brett

That honestly seems to have worked, atleast for now. Thanks so much for the help. I'm almost embarassed at how easy that was. Regardless, I'm very relieved. Thanks again. Fingers crossed that I've seen my last BSOD (for a long while).
