Hi all,
I have the following hard disk layout:
I didn't have any other applications opened, so I explored the drive with hidden folders visible. Nothing special.
I then inserted a linux live cd, mounted partition 3 and noticed a SystemVolumeInformation folder, which probably is causing it to be handled as a system partition (although Partition Wizard nor Windows' built-in partition tool mark it as system)
I'm curious about the fact why that partition (3) has been acting like this, and why partition 2 hasn't. They both have applications installed, they both hold documents...
Can anyone show me the light? x)

I have the following hard disk layout:
When I try to change the third partition's letter using Partition Wizard, I get an error that it can't be done 'cause the drive is being used. (note: I did this for testing purpose, otherwise the installed programs woudn't function anymore)DRIVE1:
#Partition 1 (C): Primary, Windows 7 Installation, Storage Space, Installed software
#Partition 2 (D): Primary, Storage Space, Installed software
#Partition 3 (X): Primary, Storage Space, Installed software
