Partitioning a HDD

Well good news all round here,Job just completed without any loss of data.

100% as expected & congrats.

Have used Partition Master here for years, literally 100's of jobs on all sizes of HD's, new and old, xp\w7\w8, has been damn stable and never failed. The recommendation is based upon that experience. But when doing any such work, 1st always make a disk image, as stated in my original post (some unknown hd or pc error may pop up, a power failure etc).

Sorry if I stepped in in the midst of an ongoing discussion by proposing an alternative, but it got the job done to the OP's satisfaction. Happy xmas to all.

Well good news all round here,Job just completed without any loss of data.
The C drive now contains the OS That partition is 120GB left it open for extra programs etc.
New partition is now 345GB and named as K,Empty at the moment but who knows.

Well I must thank all concerned in this major job of mine,Very much appreciated all the assistance from you all.
