Greetings fellow forum members,

For some unknown reason each time that I try to login to my Hotmail account I am asked for my password. Up to two days ago I could instantly access my Hotmail account from the weblink in Bing or from a link that I have saved to my Favorites.

The only change to my computer that I can think of is that I have in the days prior to this change downloaded and used the new version of CC Cleaner to delete tracking cookies, temp files, etc.. I never use it for doing anything to the registry.

Thanks for your ideas that you might give.

You could try to reset IE: Control Panel/Internet Options/Advanced/Reset (ckeck off "delete personal settings"). Now you should be able to start fresh and this time when you log in you should check the box that says something like "remember me" and if asked "Do you want IE to remember..." say "yes".

Thanks for your suggestion. I did try it and it worked but when I closed my computer and opened it later in the day the same problem appeared. I don't remember how but I later came to the MSN page and was given the choice of choosing either MSN for my own country or the U.S.. When I chose and subsequently clicked the link for Hotmail in the upper-left hand corner of the screen I entered my Hotmail account without having to login. So far, I have opened and closed my computer several times without being asked to login. It must have something to do with being given a cookie(?).

Strange..........but so is it sometimes with these things.
