Cannot put in password to open my computer. Mysterious dots appear in the password box. Cannot delete. Cannot put in my password.
Not sure if sticky keys are on or not. Made sure that none of the boxes are checked in ease of access. Have restarted computer. Even removed battery. Have a Toshiba laptop.

Hello Snokleboy, Welcome to SevenForums.

Try to check each of your keyboard buttons, i am thinking there is one key that got stock that is why dots appear and you cannot delete.

And how do I check the keys an get them unstuck? Many keys do not work. Particularly on the left side of the keyboard z-b, a-h, q-u, 1-4. To delete I need to highlight then hit del and then back space. Appreciate the help!

That's it, you have a defective keyboard.
You can get it to a technician to fix or replace your keyboard.
Or if your laptop is still on its warranty period, you can send it back to the manufacturer.
