Hello my friend has the same internet provider but all the way across the state. I have the same supposed speed has his 7mbps but he only get .42. Is there any clue why this is or should he just call the isp. Would flushing his dns do anything? Thanks oh and happy holidays! :D

Aside from rebooting his router or cable modem, there likely is nothing that he can do manually to fix the issue that he is having with speeds that slow. He needs to call the ISP and start working with them.

Yeah hes going to do that today. What I found odd was that his modem is also a wireless router I didnt know motorola supplied those but he swears up and down thats what he has. The fact that its an all in one should kill the speeds like that should it?
