Solved PC crashing/BSOD when cold booting.

Zozilla, out of curiosity, do you have an Image, or backup from before you updated AMD Vision that you could restore to? If so, go ahead and see if the problem still persists.

You are crashing on startup due to Verifier because you never removed sptd.sys; I still see it in the latest .dmp files after I had asked you to remove it. Please refer to my first post, post #2, on steps to remove it. You cannot just remove Alcohol, you have to run the sptd uninstaller as well.

@James - I've rolled back to 12.3 instead, just to see if it is the latest version of the Catalyst rubbish that's causing the problem.

@writhziden - oops! I knew I was forgetting something...sorry! I've now removed sptd.sys...I could have sworn I did that, then again if I had a BSOD after doing it it would have restored everything to the previous settings, wouldn't it?

Anyway so far no derp. If it stays stable it was either my old memory, AMD's shoddy latest update, or the file I thought I'd removed. I'll report back in a few days. Thanks for your help, guys.

You're welcome. You may want to make sure Verifier is disabled for the time being, as well. That will prevent any false positive crashes due to Verifier stressing the system. :D

So far no more BSODs. As I just upgraded my PC, I don't know for sure if it was software or hardware but...thank you everyone!
