PC gaming performance drop

Hi, I have a very frustrating issue on my PC. Games performance drops whenever I play it for 10-20 minutes. It varies, e.g. when I play watch dogs, it stutters after playing for 15 minutes. GTA IV lags and stutters after playing for 10 minutes. However there are also games that do not experience lag, or the performance drops very little. For example: Battlefield 4 (ultra settings), ARMA III (when i adjust the view distance slider all the way max, it lags after playing 10 minutes). During the lag moment, for games that lag, when i set the resolution from 1080p to 720p, they don't lag before 5 minutes. After that, they lag. So please any help would be appreciated, and thanks

Hi, I've already checked my RAM, no problem is detected. I've cleaned the dust inside my PC, yet the problem presists. The HD has no problem too. Thanks for the answer btw I'll try clean boot my PC

Ok, ill try it... I had 32 bit before, games performance drops when I used 32 bit also. But ill try to update to SP1...

Oh my, i think i just figured out the problem. When i play heavy games such as GTA 4 and watch dogs, the temp of my motherboard starts to rise to about 100 celcius. When the temp reaches 100 celcius, the game starts to lag. So i think ill buy a new mobo.... can anyone help me finding a new mobo?

Is it clear of all dust and cooled adequately? You might try that first. You can also monitor temps from SysTray with Core Temp

Yeah already cleaned my PC up...I checked it with speccy...

when you've 8gb of ram shrink your pagefile and check for unnecessary programs & startup items using ccleaner
