PC Hangs when gaming

Heya, hoping someone can help me out.

I haven't used my computer in about 3 months and now using it again it crashes when I play a game about 15 minutes in. The game will start stuttering really bad and then just stop and hang. I previously thought it was the nVidia streaming service cause I disabled it and it stopped doing it as much but now it is back to it 1 day later.

I suspected bad memory. Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic and got nothing. Where can I start?

There aren't any BSOD's happening by the look of things, but I did notice a few of these errors prior to you initialiing the memory diagnostic:

Start with this:

1. Ensure Windows is fully updated
2. Ensure all device drivers are updated (e.g. video card, sound card etc. etc.)
3. Run an sfc/scannow to check for corrupt system files:

1. Click Start

2. In the search box, type cmd
3. In the list that appears, right-click on cmd.exe and choose Run as administrator
4. In the command window that opens, type sfc /scannow and hit enter.
5. Report the output from the command window once it finishes.

EDIT: And forgot to mention that after the Memory Diagnostic, I didn't receive any info from it after I logged back on so I FIGURED everything passed.

Did you check for and install any updates?

Yes, nothing was available. Everything is up to date.

OK. You could try testing RAM again, but using the industry standard test:

I don't think its a RAM issue though. Possibly an overheating problem. Please follow this, and post back screencapture images of temp.:

Overheating the CPU doesn't seem to be an issue. Stayed stable through a very high burn.

Values are current, minimum and maximum. No crash.

Ran it for another hour with the same result. No crashes or anything. Would running both at the same time do anything?

I didn't think the above would matter, but perhaps it does.....could you update the drivers above, then see if that helps please?

Tried, and Windows says that it was unable to find a driver for it.

You may have to install the drivers from the CD/DVD's that accompanied the devices.

Unfortunately I don't even know what those devices are!

Would it be possible to find some sort of error code for when it crashes to get a better idea of the exact cause?

Thats what the .dmp files give, but at this point they are inconclusive.

Which Logitech device/s are currently installed?

None, actually. I had a game pad, but I uninstalled it and it is no longer connected.

So I installed Windows on a new partition and everything works flawlessly so I think we can eliminate hardware issues. So the question becomes how can we narrow down the problem on Windows?
