Hey, I am new to this forum and I am having a really bad problem with my PC, I have looked in the forums for answer but none helped. So the actual problem is that my PC is unable to start. This happened several times but was solved by startup repair. This time I tried every single thing to solve this problem, like command prompt commands, recovery image , last known good config and safe mode stucks at classpnp.sys and I can not afford to reinstall windows or restore it ro factory setting cause I had done it a week ago and lost much.

By my experience I think that this happens when I leave my PC idle for some time, it doesn't shut down properly and I have to manually do it and it then stucks at windows logo while starting, and just stucks there.

So if anyone can tell me it's solution I will be thankful, a solution that prevents it from occurring again.

Then what you need to do is NOT format the hard drive when you install. You'll have to reinstall your programs, but your files will be in Windows.old folder in C:

What if the installation fails?
I've had it fail before, and a second Windows.old is made (at least for me) and the files are always in one of them.

You cannot rely on windows.old as a backup method.

Work through these steps for http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219533-troubleshooting-windows-7-failure-boot.html which include everything possible to disinfect and then repair the OS, rescue your files, then if necessary run Factory Recovery or Clean Reinstall.
I've been relying on windows.old as a backup method, and it's never failed. And that's on 50+ Windows 7 installations.

And what if the reinstallation fails? We do not take shortcuts here but try to support Best Practices which means there is always a current file backup - especially before a repair or reinstall.

In this case OP has unbootable Win7 which requires speedy file rescue in case of HD failure.

I'm not saying to take a shortcut, I still make backups, I'm just giving a suggestion if the OP needs it quickly.

Hey guys,

I got a good news..
That is just totally unbelievable, I was just checking for other sites for the solution and I got the answer.

It was HDD problem , its cable was somewhat loose and I pushed it a little which solved the problem. Next time I booted and it booted normally..

Well that was unusual but thanks for your assistance. I better get a backup of the softwares and files. You people did great because you people replied in less than 10mins. Ty.. <3
