well works and looks great,no need to replace motherboard, well chuffed. If anyone ever has a problem with HDMI just simply buy a vga converter to hdmi. Saves alot of money and time

If this is a desktop, why are you using the motherboard graphics ? According to your specs you have a video card installed, aren`t you using it ?

There is no need to use the motherboard hdmi port when you have a card installed, there is no reason to put effort, money or time into getting the onboard hdmi port looked at, just use the video card you installed, Am I missing something here ???

I Googled the chip and as far as I can deduce, it's an AMD processor with on die gfx eg here on Amazon .

I think the OP just filled in his spec with the name of the gfx - like me saying I have Intel HD 4600 gfx, but in fact I have a 4770K cpu with on-die graphics. I'm not an AMD user, but I think I've read this correctly.
