Hi
I am uploading the minidump file. My pc restarts randomly when it goes to sleep i.e. when I come back after keeping it idle for sometime. I also performed the Intelburntest which says the test is successful. I am also uploading the screenshot of event viewer and bluescreen viewer. I bought this PC in December 2015

Hi. Can you reduce the RAM frequency from 1866 MHz to 1600 MHz and/or 1333 MHz, at least on a test basis? Also dont overclock any other hardware components like CPU or graphics.

Let us know how the computer runs after doing this.

OCing is the most frequent cause of a stop 0x124 BSOD.

Hi Arc
Thanks for replying. I don't think I have overclocked any component. Also in the MIT/Advanced memory settings, memory Overclocking profiles has been disabled and memory frequency is picked in the system by default as 1867 MHz. You can see it in the attachment. Or, please show me the way to lower it.

Stop 0x124 is sleep mode only sounds a little odd to me. Stop ox124 is a hardware level issue. And, during sleep mode, the power state changes which affects the drivers.

I am checking a bit .... Does the power management menu of the BIOS look like this one?

I would suggest you to take these two tests before doing anything else.

► Stress test the CPU.It saves the result as a .txt file in the prime95's folder. Upload the file for us.

► Test your RAM modules for possible errors.Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Also, Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not. And let us know the wattage of the installed PSU.

About the change of memory speed, you will not see any difference in the normal activities, but if you work with video rendering or gaming, there might be a bit little performance drop.

I'm running windows 10 home. I had that issue of it resuming at midnight every time I put it to sleep. I found after lots of looking, that it was performing updates at that time. I changed the time and it stopped.
