So I have been having this problem recently where my PC won't detect my TV monitor. It used to work but now nothing appears on my TV monitor. When I turn on my PC, the TV monitor does detect the Windows and Asus logo and it also works when I go into Safe Mode. But the screen is just black on my TV monitor when I go to my normal settings. I tried changing resolutions and holding down the 30 second button, but nothing works. If anyone can help that can be great. If I posted in the wrong section, sorry about that.

Have any other monitor or tv to try? It's not likely the tv if it can display the ASUS and Windows splash screens. My guess is te video out from the pc. Is it on-board graphics or a card? Do you have VGA connections and cable available?

No, I have no other displays to check it with. I am pretty sure my PC runs on-board graphics card. No I have no VGA cables available either

So then take it to a shop, it should take them 30 seconds to hook it up to a working monitor, at no charge.

There are no shops nearby. I mean, this is not the first time this has happened to me though. When I first used the HDMI it worked, then a few days later it stopped, then a few days later it worked.
