PCI communications controller

I have laptop dell inspiron N5010
and Windows 7 ultimate 64bit
And it shows message : windows unable to install your PCI simple Communications Controller.

or PCI communications controller driver not installed successfully. can anybody help me to solve this problem

If you look in Windows Device Manager, you will probably see a yellow exclamation point indicating that error.

I had that error with an earlier motherboard and it caused no problems at all. I used the PC that way for over a year.

I wouldn't get aggravated over it unless you are having hardware issues of some type that can be traced to it.
