I am using windows 7. My system indicates I need a driver for PCI device. When I run the trouble shooter, it indicates a driver could not be found and a system error 28 occurred. Any help would be appreciated.

Open device manager and locate the device you need a driver for. Right click on it an go to Properties. Navigate to the Details pane and use the dropdown menu to locate hardware ID's. It will look like this (as an example, my audio device)

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_80862041&REV_1003

Go to PCI Vendor and Device Lists and enter your vendor, in this case "10EC" and device, in this case "0892". This will help you locate what exactly your PCI device is, and you can do an online search for drivers from here. Hope this helps.
