PDF Previews Not Working

The PDF previewing in Explorer is not working on my PC, and I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling various different PDF clients/handlers including Nitro PDF, Foxit PDF, Sumatra PDF, Acrobat DC, but yet still the previewing is not working.

At present moment, I am only running Acrobat DC and the preview pane is "blank" when I select to preview a PDF.

Which Explorer, Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer? In Windows Explorer do you have the Adobe icon showing for a .pdf filename? If not, it may be a File Association issue.

Windows Explorer, and the icon is showing. File associations are fine, there seems to be some kind of corruption with the preview handler that is likely in the registry since it has persisted through out installs/uninstalls.
