Peer to Peer Connection not working Win7 x64 to win vista

Hi,

I am trying to connect my win 7 x64 to win vista but it's not working.

When I am trying to ping from win vista its showing succesfull but reverse is not.
I have tried all options and troubleshooted it but all efforts are in vain.
Also troubleshooting does not shows any problem and logs getting generated are also not useful.Please post if anyone can help me out.

Check the status of any installed firewall, perhaps temporarily switching them off to see if this fixes the problem. If this is the cause you can manually add the IP as a trusted device to each firewall so they are not blocked.

hi ibshaw,

only windows firewall is installed which I have disabled at the time conection.I have also tried the option for manually adding the ip to it.Result is same , I can ping from win vista to win 7 but not the reverse.
