Solved Perfect Uninstaller=Dangerous?

Anyway, I just wanted to share something I am intrigued about. Recently, I've seen people that try to get Perfect Uninstaller for free (which is obviously illegal) and I read someone's comments that said "Perfect Uninstaller is dangerous, do not install it" and I thought maybe it was true. Now, I enabled the function of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware PRO that protects me online and when I went to Perfect Uninstaller's website I got this:

Both WOT and Malwarebytes blocked me from entering their website.
I checked the ratings and comments by WOT and I got this:

From WOT:

Used for the distribution of "rogue" security or other such applications.

So, what do you guys think? Is it really dangerous or not? Personally, I will trust WOT and Malwarebytes.

Yes, but some people might claim that it is a false positive or something. People have different opinions which leads to different conclusions but thanks for posting.

Maybe it was in fact a rogue software that's why someone said in the comments that you should not install it cause its dangerous. Its no surprise that a lot of software that are downloaded illegally are either rogue or contain malware like those you get from downloading torrents.

Very true, but if the website its blocked by both WOT and Malwarebytes, then it means that even without torrents or illegal downloads, the website AND the program are in fact dangerous.

perfectuninstaller.com | McAfee SiteAdvisor Software also list it as a "potential security risk". While it found out that the scanned files are safe, I would still be careful.

Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot-pole. (Revo Uninstaller Pro for me.) In their defense, some programs that hook deep into places Windows doesn't like to get hooked in will automatically raise a red flag with a lot of security programs.

Judging by what I read at their site (assuming I translated it into English correctly), I would bet that a lot of the negative responses were due to it being a "free" trial which won't actually uninstall anything until you cough up the dough to pay for it.

Their are 3 ways I remove things form my computer. They all work well for me.
1. Windows 7 itself
2. Revo free
3. Search Everything free
I use layered security and have no problems.

Unless they have recently updated it Revo Free will not handle 64-bit applications. So I switched to Advanced Uninstaller Free instead. It handles both 32 & 64 bit apps.

Only the pro version of REVO is x64 compatible. The application posted by bbinnard seems pretty good, and I am testing the freeware version now.

Another red flag for me was the absence of a physical location for the home office. All support questions go to an email address. I'm suspicious of websites that don't tell me where they're located. ( Of course, at my advanced age my bifocals might have been out of adjustment and I missed their address. )

It doesn't really tell us where they are, thanks for pointing that out.
